Alice Springs is a small regional airport in the Northern Territory of Australia just 14 kilometres south of Alice Springs, the second largest town in the N.T.
Known as “the Alice” or just “Alice,” there are only 6 suburbs in Alice Springs which are all located quite close to the town centre. With a total population of around 26,500 people, Alice is mostly residential.
Geographically located in the centre of Australia, this area is known as Central Australia or the Red Centre as it’s surrounded by several deserts. The temperature can vary dramatically throughout the year, in summer expect high 30’s while during winter, night temperatures can be as low as 7°C
