New South Wales Rental Car

Currently New South Wales has the largest population in all of Australia. The state is located geographically between both Victoria and Queensland on the south-east coast. In 1770, the famous explorer Captain James Cook discovered New South Wales, despite the area being inhabited by Aboriginal tribes. New South Wales assumed its role as a penal colony after the arrival of the First Fleet. In 1809, after much chaos and anarchy Lachlan Macquarie reformed the settlement.  The Australian Capital Territory or ACT, is a territory built within New South Wales. Canberra is not only the capital of Australia but it is where the Australian parliament resides. New South Wales is a state famous for rugby league, with the annual ‘all-star’ State of Origin match occurring between the rival teams Queensland and NSW.
