Queensland Rental Car

Queensland is commonly referred to as the sunshine state and because of the vast amount of bananas being produced in the region the population is colloquially known as ‘Banana Benders.’ Queensland is located in the north-eastern part of Australian and shares a border with the Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales. Queensland is the second largest state with the third largest population, with New South Wales and Victoria in the lead. Several tribes of Indigenous Australians inhabited the state before the arrival of Europeans. The region was only given the name Queensland following a split from New South Wales in 1859. The state capital of Queensland is Brisbane, located in the south-eastern corner of the state.
